Following a positively confusing reunion dinner party where it appeared as though there was a chance for Jesse and Claire, the MAFS groom has revealed where their relationship stands now.

Jesse and Claire were originally paired up on MAFS, however, Claire cheated on her TV husband with groom Adam, who was partnered with Janelle.

Adam and his partner Janelle left the show fairly soon after his affair with Claire was revealed. While Claire and Jesse tried to work through their issues, they eventually left the show as Jesse couldn’t forgive Claire for what she did.

At the dinner party, both Jesse and Claire made it clear that there was still hope for their relationship and were very excited to see one another.

However, Jesse has made it clear that he and Claire still aren’t together in a series of revealing Facebook comments.

As per Yahoo Lifestyle Australia, Jesse shared an Instagram post of him and Sandy and said the reunion was “drama filled”.

A user then shared a screenshot to the Married At First Sight UNCENSORED Facebook group and asked users in the group what drama Jesse was referring to.

Jesse took it upon himself to answer the user with a lengthy reply, during which he said that things he said were “craftily edited” to make it look as though there was “still a chance” for his relationship with Claire.

“Almost everything I say about Claire that night has been craftily edited to appear that there’s still a chance for us,” Jesse began.

“Many of my sentences were stitched together – you can literally hear my tone of voice change throughout full sentences. Claire and I absolutely DID NOT talk every day.”

He continued, “I actually spent the entire drive to the reunion talking about how I wasn’t too keen on seeing Claire or Adam and how I wanted to mostly be by myself that night.

“What you saw was Claire and I simply being polite; friendly and kind to each other. No need for a fight. We shared a hello hug. We spoke once more that entire night. Nothing more to it.”
