Popular MAFS couple Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant have revealed that while they are hoping to have a second baby in the very near future, the fertility journey hasn’t been as easy as last time.

Jules and Cam met on season six of MAFS, and are one of the show’s most successful pairings. At the final MAFS commitment ceremony, Cam got down on one knee and legally proposed to his on-screen wife, who happily accepted.

The couple were married in 2019 in a ceremony that was televised for fans, called A Current Affair’s Married At First Sight Wedding Special: Cam and Jules. They welcomed their son Oliver Chase Merchant into the world in October 2020.

Now, the married couple have revealed that they’re hoping to have another baby sooner rather than later.

“We would love to have had an announcement, but it hasn’t happened. But if there’s a will, there’s a way!” Jules told Woman’s Day magazine.

“We’ll do everything in our power to have another baby. So, fingers crossed, we’ll have an announcement next year,” she added.

The reality star admitted that the pressure from fans to give Olive a sibling has been overwhelming at times.

“So many people write on my social media, ‘Time for a brother, time for a sister.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, I’ve given it a good shot!'” she said.

Back in March, Jules told Stellar that she has been hoping to get pregnant with a girl.

“For some time now, we’ve been manifesting a little girl, whom we named together all the way back in the final week of the Married At First Sight experiment [in 2019]. I hope to announce a pregnancy in 2022,’ she told the publication.

“I’m really busy, and [manifesting] was my formula last time – and it worked – so let’s hope history repeats itself.”
