MAFS star Kate has opened up about why she and her twin sister decided to start an OnlyFans account together, and what their mum thinks about their new joint venture.

Kate told Yahoo Lifestyle that she and her twin were hesitant at joining the platform and first, but figured they may as well give it a try.

“We were a bit scared to do it at first, but everyone was asking and we thought, ‘Let’s do it!’,” she told the publication.

“People always ask if one of us is gay. I think there’s a twin fetish out there that we’re trying to appeal to. We’re doing some great content and had one fan write to us and say we have ‘the best asses in Australia’.”

“Our mum is supportive of anything we do!” she said. “She is proud but won’t be a part of [any content].”

Kate and Bec join a slew of other cast members from this year’s MAFS who have joined OnlyFans, including  Domenica Calarco, Olivia Frazer, Jackson Lonie, Mitch Eynaud and Daniel Holmes. Kate said that they were inspired by the success her former co-stars had on the platform.

“Obviously OnlyFans was a big topic this year on MAFS,” she told Yahoo! “It lead to a lot of people asking me and me and my sister if we were going to an OnlyFans.

“After a lot of thinking and planning, we decided to be brave and to do it. Other MAFS and reality TV stars did influence us into looking more into it.”

According to former MAFS star and current OnlyFans creator Hayley Vernon, many of the new faces that will star in the next season of Married at First Sight have already signed up for OnlyFans.

“It’s great being back in Sydney. I get so many memories of when I was here filming MAFS. It’s funny because now I’ve got cast on the new season messaging me for advice and they’re all filming up the street from my hotel.” she told Yahoo Lifestyle.
