MAFS Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli clap back at trolls on Instagram who have taken to shaming Martha for her pregnancy.
Former MAFS stars, Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli, are responded to trolls on Instagram who have been telling Martha her clothing is “inappropriate” for someone who is pregnant. The parasocial users have taken to Martha’s comment sections to express their desires for her body— does what a former reality TV show star wears matter that much that you have to be permanently in their replies?
The couple, who first met on the show in 2019, announced in September that their first child is on the way.
Many of the responses have been positive, however, a good amount of followers have also taken the opportunity to project their own standards onto Martha’s body as she goes chooses to display her pregnancy in the way she desires.
In response, Michael took to Instagram on November 17th to highlight some of the psychologically harmful comments with a picture of Martha showing her baby bump.
“You need a good maternity clothes hun [sic],” one user said. “There’s plenty on [sic] nice ones out there.”
The negative comments continued: “I mean I love you but tbh that clothes look ridiculous you’re pregnant now there’s plenty of fashionable maternity clothes you can get [sic].”

“This is disgusting dress properly [sic],” another said.
This is when Michael responded, defending Martha with the caption: “F**k both of you, she does what she wants.
With Love, Michael.”
Martha also chimed in on the situation, telling fans they have every opportunity to unfollow her if they don’t like what they’re seeing.
“So many women pressed that I’m not wearing maternity clothes and chose to show my stomach,” she penned.
“If you don’t like what you see, just unfollow me; promise I won’t be sad to see you leave.”
