While MAFS promos have teased a “butt dial” scandal, behind-the-scenes leaked text messages suggest even more drama between Dan and Sandy.

Instagram account MAFS Gossip has posted dozens of texts between the reality TV couple, with Sandy hurling an insult at Dan within the first few messages. In the screenshot Sandy seems frustrated that she’s not with Dan, asking where he is and getting frustrated when he responded, “Harrison’s room”.

Sandy replied, “Fml I had an ivy wristband too. Why are you there.”

“You’re a dumb c**t, I’m going to bed. Good night.”

Dan responds by saying, “Okay… Can’t ever remember being called a “dumb c**t before… Good night Sandy x”.

In subsequent texts, Dan tells Sandy that he wants to leave the experiment because of the slur she called him. In a message, he says that a producer has gotten him a separate hotel room and he’s “flying home” the next morning.

“I’m not bailing on our friendship. This manipulation and TV show goes against my entire way of living. You telling me I’m a ‘dumb c**t’ is the last straw,” he wrote.

Elsewhere in the exchange, Sandy sent Dan a message reading, “I wish you could just love me for who I am”.

In Dan’s lengthy response, he suggests that Sandy and himself made an arrangement where they would stay on the show as way to get more publicity.

“I’m glad that you were open and honest enough with me to let me know that I am not your person and that you wanted to create an arrangement with me to see out this experiment as friends,” part of the message reads.

It continues, “As I said to you, I am happy to leave, as we are not here anymore for what we came here for… but I am also happy to stay and help you grow and give you the voice and platform you want for your Indian audience. All I ask is that you please respect and honour the sacrifice I’m now making for you.”
