A former classmate of Tamara from MAFS has revealed that she was bullied by the reality TV villain in school.

The user posted a thread on Reddit saying that she went to a school called Damascus in Ballarat with Tamara, that she was a “notorious bully” in school and that she was no different in school to the way that she’s portrayed on the hit show.

“As someone who was bullied by Tamara in high school I just have this to say: when I first saw that she was on MAFS this year it bought back a lot of horrible old feelings, and I was very upset to see my bully getting national attention. In saying that, I was also interested to see if she’d changed at all since I had to change schools due to her treatment in 2008. Obviously she’s exactly the same,” user  damascusballarat2006 wrote.

The post continued,” I don’t want to come across as nasty, or on her level, but I’m so glad her true colours showed and people can see exactly who she is. For anyone who wonders what she was like before MAFS, or back in Ballarat: she was no different to exactly how she is now.”

“Tamara was a notorious bully at our school, I’m sure I’m not the only person who was bullied by her that’s on this sub. My mum was actually the one who noticed her on the promos and pointed her out to me. I think it’s proof that she left a terrible impression that even my mum remembers her so many years later.

“My honest feelings about Tamara are that I pity her. I believe she’s very very insecure and unhappy and that’s why she’s so cruel to others. I think she craves attention and doesn’t care about what she does to get it. Some of the things that have some out in the media, particularly this week, have shocked me and I think it’ll be great once she eventually goes away completely again.”

The post received over twenty encouraging replies from other commenters sympathizing with the user’s treatment in highschool.

One poster commented saying that they went to the same school, but were friends with Tamara.

“As somebody who was friends with her during school I’m so sorry you experienced this. I was bullied at Damascus too and the teachers were horrific at handling it, some even joined in on it,” They wrote
