Never mind the much-derided CGI, the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law dropped a major bombshell about Captain America’s virginity.
From Spider-Man’s pursuit of MJ to Thor’s feisty relationship with Jane Foster, the romances of superheroes has always been a subject of fascination for fans.
Away from Peggy Carter, Captain America, or Steve Rogers, didn’t seem to fare too well in the romance department during his time un the 21st century. There was a strange kiss with his niece in Civil War, but not much else.
That led lots of viewers to wonder whether Mr Rogers remained a virgin before returning to the past to be with Peggy, and finally that issue has been addressed thanks to She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
During the premiere episode of the new Marvel TV series, the subject of Captain America’s virginity cropped up in conversation between Bruce Banner and Jennifer Walters.
As per The Direct, Banner revealed in a post-credits scene that Rogers “lost his virginity to a girl in 1943 on the USO tour.” So there you have it. Another intricate thread of the Marvel Cinematic Universe unravelled. There’s thousands of Captain America super fans that can rest easy tonight.

It shouldn’t be that surprising really. As Captain America writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely recently made clear in an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, Rogers had quite a lot going for him. “He is not a choir boy, he’s a World War II veteran,” Markus pointed out, while McFeely noted that “if you look like that” and are “going city to city” meeting adoring fans, you’re going to be fine in the romance department.
