A bout of illness has been blamed for the very last-minute cancellation of Matt Corby’s show at the Enmore Theatre on Tuesday April 12.

Corby, who was set to perform the second of three hometown shows in support of his well-received debut album,Telluric, when the illness struck – leaving a theatre full of eager fans disappointed but largely understanding.
While the BRAG cannot yet confirm the nature of the illness, it must have been sudden – the announcement of the cancellation was made ten minutes before Corby’s set was scheduled to begin. The support act Vera Blue had already performed.
Update:Matt Corby has now announced the postponement of his show tonight, Wednesday April 13, as his “voice is in a bad way”.
