Doctor Whofans across Sydney have been given another reason to celebrate, with the announcement that Matt Smith, Karen Gilian and Alex Kingston are set to appear at The Hub Productions’ event Whoniverse this year.
The Sydney Whoniverse event is part of a national tour, and the 11th Doctor Smith’s appearance will be the first time a modern-era Doctor has attended an Australian convention. Joining him is Gillian, who played Amy Pond, and Kingston, who played River Song.
The show, much like a Tardis, gets even bigger on the inside, with all the actors appearing onstage to share stories and take questions from fans. There will also be autograph and photograph sessions, auctions, raffles, trivia and rare collectables.
Whoniverse with Matt Smith comes to Sydney on Saturday May 9, with the venue yet to be announced. Tickets start at $150 and available from The Hub Productions’ website.
