McDonald’s has introduced a new contender to the hallowed McFlurry ring, the Donut Ball McFlurry.
It’s all in the name but we’ll break it down in more detail. It’s not like there’s any other major, significant, historical events happening today that are worth devoting precious brain cells to.
The Donut Ball McFlurry marries four donut ball pieces, that rest ceremoniously upon a mattress of whipped soft serve ice-cream. If you’re one for decadence, you’ll have the option to add a hot fudge sauce of your choosing and crushed pieces of oreo.
I’m a big strawberry sauce sceptic. I think that it’s one of the more ghastly flavour profiles on the planet. However, I can’t help but think that this is its chance to shine. Almost like a hot jam donut situation. Marvellous.
The Donut Ball McFlurry is only available for a limited time from November 4th to November 17th. It’s also only available on the UberEats app. Which seems kind of stupid but I suppose you could just order it for pick up and contribute yet more of your hard-earned cash to the cancerous gig economy.
