To bring the new ‘Critic’s Choice’ category to their food delivery platform, Menulog is looking for Australia’s Armchair Food Critic who will get 12 months of free orders delivered straight to their door.

Ready for the ultimate job that you didn’t know existed, but now you really fucking need it? Introducing Menulog’s search for Australia’s Armchair Food Critic. So, are you keen to kick back on your sofa, and enjoy meal after meal of free food? Then this is the job for you.

Menulog is after the ultimate potato-eating, couch potato who will be tasting dish after tasty dish from them, offering their most detailed opinions, and they only call on you to have a few key skills to apply: you need to be an experienced eater (who isn’t picky at all), not shy about sharing your opinions both in person and virtually, and someone who is a keen content creator with a good amount of socials followers.

As part of Menulog’s “LOGies,” the Armchair Food Critic will be in charge of the ‘Critic’s Choice’ category, awarding the best of the best with their award, and will need to be very choosy in picking the ultimate Menulog eat.

Menulog Marketing Director, Simon Cheng said: “We love running the Restaurant Awards each year as not only does it give us a great opportunity to recognise our restaurant partners, but we see such fantastic support from the local community. We’re excited to add the ‘Critic’s Choice’ category this year to get more customers involved in the program and to highlight more of the best local eateries.”

So, in thanks for your hard, criticising work, how will you be paid? Well, you’ll get the bragging rights as Australia’s Armchair Food Critic, as well as having 12 months of free Menulog delivered right to your door.

Keen to apply? You’ll need to submit a 30 second video of your best restaurant or meal review. The applications are now open via Menulog’s website, and will remain open until Friday, September 4th, with the successful applicant being announced on September 14th.
