Miley Cyrus’ mum Tish has seemingly confirmed she’s dating former Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell.

Tish posted a candid photo of herself and Dominic that showed them cuddling by a pool while looking out at the ocean. She simply captioned the post “Thanks for the cute photo” along with a red love heart and tagged Dominic.

Dominic was born in the UK but emigrated to Australia with his family when he was just two years old. He carved a successful career actor in Aussie soaps like Heartbreak High and Home And Away before moving to Hollywood.

Miley’s parents, Tish Cyrus and Billie Rae Cyrus got married in 1993, a year after she was born. The couple has had an on-and-off relationship over the years and filed for divorce three times, but previous attempts have been withdrawn. They officially divorced earlier this year on the basis of “irreconcilable differences”.

Like Tish, Billie Rae has also struck up a romantic connection with an Australian. In September it was reported that he was engaged to a much younger Aussie singer called Firerose.

“Billy is happier than he has been in a long time with Firerose,” a source told the Sun and confirmed Firehose and Billie Rae were engaged.

The added, “There had been problems in his marriage for a while. He and Tish have been on and off for the best part of a decade, but things had been over for some time before the announcement in April.”

Meanwhile, before Tish and Domenic got together, he dated 90210 actor Annalynne McCord on again and off again for years. The 35-year-old actor once famously called him a “big, strong, angry Aussie” who “changed everything.”

In the same interview Annalynne also revealed that Domenic helped her overcome sexual trauma. “I had such severe sexual abuse at such a young age that my body decided, ‘This is unsafe for you to feel.’ So I was completely numb.”

“Dom and I … had this relationship. Yeah, Dom was my dom. There are many reasons why that man will be my forever person … he’s staying at my house right now — we’re not together [but] we’re family is what it is now,” she told Cosmopolitan.
