A raccoon in Minnesota has become an unlikely social media star after scaling an office tower in the state’s capital.
The furry hero began it’s journey on Monday, when it became stuck on the 2nd floor ledge of another building. During a rescue attempt by three maintenance workers, the raccoon made a run for it and began scaling a second building, the office tower it now calls captor. The poor furry critter has been sky-high since Monday, NPR reports.

Dubbed the #mprraccoon, the athletic trash panda has captured the hearts of the internet. Many have been tweeting their support for the animal, as it stays stranded on the skyscraper. One woman even created an illustration of the athletic animal in action:
Hang in there, #mprraccoon . I’m rooting for you! <3 pic.twitter.com/VH6tWBQl63

Workers inside the UBS building have had a front-row seat to the action, including lawyer Sheila Donnelly-Coyne. The animal has elected the windowsill outside her law firm as it’s temporary home, and has been spotted taking naps and grooming itself. As you can see in the image below, it seems the general public may be more concerned about the situation than the raccoon is.
He stretched a little bit ago then decided to lay down for a nap.He has been sniffing a bit we’re hoping he smells the food they put on the top of the building so that he can get to safety. pic.twitter.com/BBD1Ob0L4r
