We’re getting an iCarly reboot in 2021, starring Miranda Cosgrove.

Let’s throw it back to 2007. Drake & Josh has wrapped up on Nickelodeon. We’re all sad, but at least their little sister, Megan can no longer wreak havoc on her older brothers and their lives.

Then the news breaks, Miranda Cosgrove, who we all knew from the year before (Drake & Josh aired), thanks to her role in iconic movie, School Of Rock as the character of Summer Hathaway, is receiving her own TV show on Nickelodeon.

That show is iCarly. Created by the same mind behind Drake & Josh, iCarly finds its roots in the blog-era of the time, where she stars in her own web-show which she runs with her two best friends: Freddie Benson and Sam Puckett.

And of course we can’t forget, Drake & Josh’s, Jerry Trainor who plays the role of Carly’s older brother, Spencer Shay.

Now we’ve received news that iCarly will be receiving a reboot, with Forbes announcing that it is slated to air on Paramount+, a brand new streaming service which will also be accessible next year.

Although the show is produced by Nickelodeon Studios, for Paramount+, it has a new team on deck bringing the reboot to life, meaning that iCarly’s original creator Dan Schneider is not a part of it.

Turning our heads to who will be involved, the original cast including Miranda Cosgrove of course, Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress have been confirmed for the iCarly reboot, while Jennette McCurdy who played Carly’s best friend, Sam, has not.

The show enjoyed a successful five-year stint on Nickelodeon, where the show wrapped up with Carly moving to live with her dad in Italy.

So where will the reboot pick up? Right now, specifics like the show’s storyline and the like have not yet been announced.

Does she still tell people to go to iCarly.com? Has she been living her best life in Italy this whole time?
