MTV Australia has just announced that they will be rebooting the staple 2000s tv show MTV CRIBS – and we’re going to get a taste of the lifestyles of Australia’s rich and famous.
Akin to the original, MTV Australia’s reimagination of MTV CRIBS will satiate all our nosy desires. Offering us unrestricted access to the lavish lifestyles of Australia’s most bougie cribs. Quite frankly my nosy ass couldn’t be more excited about this television spectacular.
On October 17th MTV will premiere a first look at the new show by offering us a peek at the opulent waterside mansion of Kyle Sandilands and his partner Imogen Anthony. We can’t even begin to imagine the gaudy luxury that will be a Sandilands abode. Will there be golden sleigh beds? A ignorantly sized white-leather Nick Scali set up? Marble statues of Mr. Sandilands himself, recalling the work of Michelangelo? The possibilities are endless.
In a statement released, Simon Bates, head of MTV Asia Pacific has said: “The popularity of MTV CRIBS spans decades, and who better than Kyle and Imogen to kick off a look into the inner sanctum of Australia’s biggest and flashiest celebrities.”
Originally launched in 2000, MTV CRIBS has given audiences everywhere an exclusive look into the lives of celebrities like Mariah Carey, Simon Cowell, Missy Elliot, Snoop Dog, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
