Amidst apparent lineup leaks and rumours, Soundwave have begun to officially confirm the first bands that will grace the 2015 bill.
Soundwave will be announcing one band that will be appearing at their 2015 incarnation each evening this week.Stay tuned to BRAG for more details on the lineup as they emerge.
Band #1 – Monday August 4:Ahead of the release of their debut international albumThe Revelation, which drops this Friday August 8, Japanese rockersColdrain have been confirmed for the 2015 festival.
Band #2 – Tuesday August 5:Long Island’s pop-punk masters Patent Pending have been confirmed for the 2015 bill.
Band #3 – Wednesday August 6:The Californian outfit Butcher Babies will make their maiden voyage to Australia for Soundwave 2015.
Band #4: Thursday August 7:The fourth band locked in is the UKprogressive tech-metal outfitMonuments.
Band #5 – Friday August 8: The Interrupters are the final of the #firstwave acts to be added to the bill, whoAJ Maddah has described as“best punk band you’ve never heard of.”
Soundwave 2015will take place in Melbourne on Saturday February 28 and Sunday March 1 atOlympic Park.
