The music industry’s charity football event, Musica Copa, is returning to Sydney in 2014 with a brand new ‘under lights’ format.

Marrickville’s Kikoff centre will host the cream of Australia’s musicians as they show off a little footballing talent in a five-a-side tournament for charity. Musica Copa is run in conjunction with the Electronic Music Conference, and is the brainchild of Paul Stix (UNDR ctrl) and Martin Novosel (Purple Sneakers).

16 teams will be competing at the tournament this year, including Elefant Traks x Umbrella, FBi Radio, Future Classic, inthemix, Ministry Of Sound x Mustard Music, Mushroom Group, OneLove, Pulse Radio, Audiopaxx, Falcona, MAKER (joining Sweat It Out), MTV, Red Bull Music Academy, Sony, UNDR ctrl and Universal.

Musica Copa 2014 is on Friday December 5 at Kikoff, Fraser Park. Tickets are invitation only, but head to musicacopa.com for the chance to win VIP passes.
