The National Art School has unveiled a major solo exhibition by photo-based Australian artist Rosemary Laing.

The exhibition will cover more than a decade of Laing’s artistic life, featuring the previously unseen series effort+rush (2015) alongside the acclaimed one dozen unnatural disasters in the Australian landscape (2004), a dozen useless actions for grieving blondes (2009) and leak (2010).

31 photographic works will present Laing’s trademark exploration of culturally and historically significant locations across Australia.

The exhibition is free andruns from Thursday August 20 to Thursday October 15 at the National Art School Gallery.
