The Necks, the masters of improvisation, will celebrate 30 years in the business with an intimate studio performance at the Sydney Opera House.

Following the success of their 18th album Vertigo, the Sydney trio will once again perform to a small yet undoubtedly rapturous audience.

Chris Abrahams (piano), Lloyd Swanton (double bass) and Tony Buck (drums) are globally renowned for their unique approach to creating spontaneous music of shimmering beauty and simplicity.

This performance takes place as part the Opera House’s contemporary music program which will also feature the likes of Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys), D’Angelo and Hot Chip, as well as the annual Vivid LIVE festival.

Fans can catch The Necksat the Sydney Opera House, Monday March 7.
