Craig McLachlan rose to fame on Aussie soap ‘Neighbours’, but despite his onscreen family appearing in the finale – he didn’t receive an invitation.
McLachlan played the brother of Kylie Minogue’s character Charlene, Henry Ramsay, from 1987 to 1989 and was Harold Bishop and Madge’s stepson – all who appeared in the final week of the beloved soap.
McLachlan was recently cleared of assault charges made against him by four former co-stars on Rocky Horror Show. A statement released by a spokesperson for the actor suggests that he has chalked down his exclusion to the very public court case associated with the charges.
“Henry’s dead mother is being reincarnated for the final episode — but cancel culture won’t allow her son Henry to appear or even be acknowledged,” the spokeswoman told The Sun.
They continued, “What Craig and his partner have endured over the past four-and-a-half years — only to come out the other side and be confronted by, among other things, the attempted permanent erasing of his part in Neighbours history — is devastating.”
“Craig was not invited to take part in the closing episode or indeed to contribute in any way to the end of Neighbours.
“Henry was, and continues to be, an all-time Neighbours favourite, a character Craig loves to this day. Craig happily and enthusiastically contributed to a number of Neighbours celebratory milestones over the years and was always so thrilled to be invited to partake.”

The star-studded finale of Neighbours airs tonight at 7:30pm on channel 10.
“After 37 years, 8903 episodes, countless marriages, deaths, births and disasters, it’s time to say goodbye to Neighbours,” Channel 10 said in a statement.
“The history-making final episode of Australia’s longest-running drama will be simulcast on 10 and 10 Peach on Thursday, July 28 at 7.30pm, in a gripping and emotional 90-minute finale.”
Neighbours first aired in 1985, centring on the fictional community of Ramsay Street in Melbourne. Fans were devastated earlier this year when the show’s demise was confirmed as it was dropped by its broadcaster.
