Comedy hero Hannah Gadsby has announced her second Netflix standup special, Douglas. The special is set to drop on May 26th.
“Hi, I’m Hannah Gadsby. My second Netflix special, Douglas, will debut on May 26th on Netflix! I’m excited for you to see it. It’s gonna be good. Unless you don’t like it. Then it’s still going to be good and you’ll be wrong,” Gadsby shared in a video announcement.
It’s been two years since Gadsby dropped Nanette, one of the most popular and revered stand-up sets in Netflix history. I think I speak on behalf of all of us when I say that what our souls are yearning for is Gadsby’s unique blend of achingly funny humour and empathy to get us through this period of self-isolation.
