English comedian Karl Pilkington, who rose to fame on Ricky Gervais‘ show An Idiot Abroad is getting his own sitcom.
Sick of It features Karl Pilkington in two roles – playing himself and his inner monologue. After being dumped by his girlfriend, Karl attempts to navigate the world with his mardy alter-ego by his side. It’s like the parent trap but miserable.
Sick of It is due for release later this year. It is co-written by Pilkington and Richard Yee (An Idiot Abroad, Hoff the Record).
