Assuaging the sinking fears that Sydney’s live music scene will never recover, a glimmer of hope appears.

The Discovered At Marble Bar competition is set to reprise its noble effort of providing a place to be discovered for the live music acts of Sydney.

Believing there is merit in fostering the development of the zealousness and talent bursting forth in Sydney’s musicians, the competition is sure to be a place of groove for musos and fans alike.

Bands are encouraged to enter the competition by Monday April 18 for the chance to battle and sweat it out for the prize. The prize, in its glimmering and enticing glory, is a two-month residency at Sydney’s Hilton, valued at $10,000. Let hope rise Sydney, the sound of music is not dead.
