The trailer for the next instalment of Hulu’s horror anthology series Into The Dark has arrived.

The New Years Eve themed episode, titled New Year, New You, is directed by Always Shine director Sophia Takal.

The 82-minute episode follows the story of a group of high school friends who get together for a special New Year’s girls night. Three of the girls, played by Suki Waterhouse, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Melissa Bergland, have kept connected. The fourth girl, played by Carly Chaikin, has been estranged from the others as she gained social-media influencer fame.

From what we can tell from the trailer, over the course of the evening the girls rehash old memories. Shit gets violent, tension builds and dirty laundry is aired.

A game of ‘Never Have I Ever’ receives a bloodthirsty treatment when Suki Waterhouse asks the group “never have I ever bullied a perfectly sweet and innocent girl until she committed suicide?”

New Year, New You looks like a gruesome, bloody, Insta-age delight. It’s about time the silver screen got itself a sadistic influencer for a villain. Check out the trailer below.

New Year, New You will be available on Hulu from December 28.
