Nicolas Cage is yet again, after the declaration of independence. The Moonstruck actor has reportedly filed for an annulment, four days into his marriage with makeup artist Erika Koike. The Blast have shared court records that Cage filed in Clark County, Nevada. It has reported that if Cage is not granted the annulment, he will seek a divorce.

Nicolas Cage has beaten his personal best record for short-lived marriages. Back in 2002, he split from his second wife, Lisa Marie Presley, after three months of marriage. Cage’s first wife was actress Patricia Arquette, who he was married to from 1995 to 2001. His third and longest marriage was with Alice Kim, a former waitress.

In 2018, Nicolas Cage starred in one of the bloodiest, most triumphant films of the year, Mandy. We interviewed director Panos Cosmatos’s about the film. Read an excerpt from the interview below and read the full article here:

While the Italian-Canadian director and writer’s first film Beyond The Black Rainbow dealt with the repression of his emotions after his parent’s deaths, Mandy is essentially a detonating emotive nightmare.

“I wanted to keep the trope of the revenge film, but [I wanted it] to feel more driven by the person that was absent,” Cosmatos tells the BRAG. In doing so, he reveals to audiences the depths of love, and the sheer intensity of despair one experiences after losing someone close.
