The free family-friendly film festival (try saying that ten times fast) Night Owls Film Festival kicks off on Friday January 8.
With the lineup of films ranging from classics likeRoman Holiday to more recent animated fare such as 2008’s delightful, ham-centricPonyo, there is something for everyone.
Given there are so few festivals out there that cater exclusively for the younger market, the event should be relished by parents and carers alike. The fact that it doesn’t cost a dime helps too.
The beautiful surrounds of the Village Green in Darling Quarter will provide a perfect setting for the screenings, with proceedings kicking off at the magic hour – 6pm – each night.
The full program for the festival is available here.
