Boston Dynamics are well ahead of the game when it comes to developing creepy lifelike robots.

Take for example, this guy named Atlas, who casually wanders in the snow, pushes through emergency doors, and unpacks boxes from the garage shelf like he’s your Uncle Norm or something.

While that might seem cute, in a functional Jetsons way, this headless robot dog, is not.

Its name is SpotMini, although to give it a name is to give it humanity and to foster sympathy, which is surely the beginning of the end.

But I digress.

The robot was first unveiled in June, 2016 in a different form but, because the idea of an extremely lifelike headless dog isn’t creepy enough, they have given it the ability to open doorknobs, and walk out.

By walk out, I of course mean escape.
