Sydney’s hospitality royalty are taking to the city’s streets this weekend for a huge foodie extravaganza.
Open For Lunch kicks off the Summer in Sydney events series this Friday, December 2nd, transforming Sydney CBD and Parramatta with mouthwatering dining experiences.
Hospitality favourites including Luke Mangan’s glass brasserie, Merivale’s Jordan Toft (mimi’s) and Mike Eggers (Totti’s), Ben Milgate and Elvis Abrahanowicz (Porteño), Esteban, NOLA Smokehouse, Rockpool Dining Group and Anna Polyviou will be providing enticing food and drink offerings.
Four special precincts, spanning George Stree from Park to Huner Street, will see Sydney’s hugely diverse dining scene come to life in an unforgettable way.
Foodie fans will be able to sample some delicious Nashville BBQ while sipping cold beers and listening to classic country music at The George Street Hoedown.
Merivale’s Disco Picnic will create a dance floor down George Street, featuring entertainment by Groove City.
Or you could celebrate your inner child at the carnival spectacular YCK Fair, featuring dishes from Cash Only Diner, Stitch Bar, Esteban, PS40 and The Barber Shop.

Attendees can also visit the original home of George Street’s Open For Lunch at Feast for the Senses, where they can enjoy a special three-course meal from Luke Mangan’s glass brasserie, in addition to entertainment by Ministry of Sound Orchestra and guest vocalists.
In Parramatta, Open For Lunch will take over CommBank Stadium. Guests will be able to enjoy an amazing culinary experience overlooking the Western Sydney’s home of sport and entertainment.
On arrival at the stadium, guests will be treated to a wide array of the best food and drink from some of Parramatta’s finest neighbouring restaurants.
They’ll then be able to try a paddock to plate experience offered by local boy, Matt Moran. The entire day will then finish with an intimate Motown’s Greatest Hits special by Aussie icons, Human Nature.
Open For Lunch 2022 offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience for only only $65 +booking fees) per person; the only tough part will be deciding where to go.
