The Paper Kites have announced an extensive national tour to celebrate the release of their latest albumtwelvefour, kicking off this October.
The album is based around a theory that an artist’s creative peak is between the hours of midnight and 4am. So for two months the band’s vocalist Sam Bentley spent four hours every night writing, penning 30 songs in his home studio. The band then travelled to Seattle to record with Grammy-nominated producer Phil Ek (Father John Misty, Manchester Orchestra, Fleet Foxes).
