Paris Hilton has welcomed her first child – a baby son – with her fiancé, actor and businessman Carter Reum.
The heiress announced the exciting news on social media by sharing a photo of her newborn son’s hand wrapped in her own. She captioned the pic, “You are already loved beyond words.”
The baby was welcomed via surrogate, and is their first child together. Paris confirmed their son’s birth in a statement to People, saying, “It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
The new parents began dating in late 2019 and got engaged in February of this year. Paris has previously been open about her desire to be a mum and her IVF journey to get there, calling motherhood “definitely one of my top priorities.”
“I cannot wait,” she told People, adding that she’d like “two or three” kids. “I would want twins first,” she said. “I don’t know it’s hard to say. I always wish I had an older brother because I feel like if I did then he would protect me and things like that in school.”
The Simple Life star then added, “Maybe a boy first.”
Paris and Carter met when they were young, but started dating in 2019. They got engaged in Feburuary 2021 and married in November of the same year.
