Parks and Recreation predicted exactly how Bobba Fett survived his gruesome ‘death’ in The Book Of Boba Fett.
It seems it’s no longer only The Simpsons that has the power of predicting the future.
The new Disney+ series, The Book of Boba Fett, sees the return of much beloved but short-lived character Boba Fett now played by Temuera Morrison.
Before his surprise appearance in The Mandalorian, Fett was left to be digested in the Sarlacc pit for “over a thousand years”.

However, that no longer seems to be the case.
Spoilers below!
Fett simply survives off the oxygen of a dead stormtrooper and then blasts his way through with his flamethrower. All in a day’s work.
Fett then emerges from the sand to continue serving the power hungry empire… Disney.
But what is amazing viewers, is how Patton Oswalt predicted the exact way Fett would return in the fifth season of Parks and Recreation.
In the series, Oswalt’s character ‘Garth Bludin’ is attempting to delay a vote in a council meeting. To do so, he decides to tell the council about his ideas for the 7th Star Wars film.
Though what he describes is not what became The Force Awakens, he does hit the nail on the head with The Book of Boba Fett.
Watch the clip and see for yourself!
“Pan down from the twin suns of Tatooine. We are now close on the mouth of the Sarlacc Pit. After a beat, the gloved Mandalorian armor gauntlet of Boba Fett brabs onto the sand outside the Sarlacc out, and the feared bounty hunter pulls himself from the maw of the sandbeat. And we realise that he survived his fall during the battle at Jabba’s palace ship”
Spooky stuff.
Oswalt himself has been baffled by this coincidence, taking to twitter to jokingly gloat.
To say I’m touched is putting it lightly. And yeah, #BookofBobaFett ROCKS. YOU’RE WELCOME. https://t.co/gmmjVNCtS4

In-joke at Disney? Or another TV series that can see the future?
I’ll be keeping an eye on Oswalt’s next grand prediction.
