You can shave your beards now (if you want) because the looooong-awaited LP Joy is due to be released.
The Melbourne trio The Peep Tempel are releasing their LP Joy on October 14. Can’t wait and want to get in early? Well luckily the pre-order button was invented. Yes, it is now available for pre-ordering through Redeye Worldwide. This LP follows their previous album Tales,which seduced fans across Australia and was described as a punky arse record, and a brutal look at contemporary Australia suburban Australia.
The Peep Tempel wroteJoyin their West Melbourne studio last summer and again collaborated with engineer Anna Laverty, to record and mix the album at Sing Sing Studios.Joy is punky arse 2.0 with a whole lot of vivid story-telling. The tracks contain screaming guitar and pointed lyrics, as well as incorporating the following sounds to add to the chaos: organ, piano, a spanner on steel, and a car engine.
Catch a ‘peep’ of The Peep Tempel at their show and have a listen to their new LP Joy because it will bring you ‘joy’. (Har har har.. Fail.)
