Sydney foursome Pist Idiots are about jump on board the national Laneway tour.

The festival comes to Sydney’s Domain this Sunday February 2. To celebrate, Jack Sniff and the rest of the Pist gang will be serving kebabs from their very own food truck.

Revesby locals Pist Idiots released the mini-album Ticker in September. Track four is called ‘Is This What You Want’. The band’s upcoming culinary venture seems to pose the same question in a different manner. It’s hard to image anyone will answer no.

Curious about the what, how and where of the band’s kebab gambit? We reached out to the Idiots to get all the delicious details.

The BRAG: What’s on the menu?
Pist Idiots: Classic doner kebabs. Beef, chicken, mixed, falafel.

TB: How long will the truck be around?
PI: All-day, but only at the Sydney Laneway Festival.

TB: How did the idea come about?
PI: After years of painstaking research and testing across Australia – from Fortitude Valley to Hindley St – nothing compares to the kebabs in our backyard, Bankstown. Honourable mentions: TC Brothers Kebabs, Sals Oz Rock Kebabs (R.I.P).

Through our findings we’ve established the perfect kebab. And we’ll be bringing that kebab to the people of Sydney for one day, and one day only.

TB: Who will be making the kebabs?
PI: The guy who owns the truck but Pist Idiots will be serving!

Get your Pist Idiots kebabs at the Sydney Laneway festival this Sunday, February 2.
