The Barden Bellas from Pitch Perfect held a socially distanced reunion on Zoom on Monday, August 17th to belt out their new charity single.

Their A capella cover of Beyonce’s ‘Love On Top’ is raising money for UNICEF‘s global COVID-19 relief efforts. In signature Bella fashion the cover is jam packed with beat boxing, musical riffs and powerhouse voices.

UNICEF works in 192 countries across the world to keep children safe and protect their rights. The Bellas have chosen to support them in their efforts to protect children and families from COVID-19. A portion of every sale will go towards UNICEF.

Joined by The Bellas, Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Chrissie Fit, Kelley Jakle, Jama Mae Lee and Shelley Regner were also joined by Elizabeth Banks and John Michael Higgins.

In keeping with their hilarious Pitch Perfect characters Elizabeth and John first exclaim their disappointment that the Bella’s are still together before introducing them and the charity. “I’m afraid we have some bad news. The Barden Bellas have gotten back together again. It seems that not even a quarantine could prevent them from harassing us with another musical performance.”

Towards the end of the song, as it moves out of Anna Kendrick’s vocal range she holds up signs saying, “As the key gets higher and Kelley takes over the top notes, I just want to say I miss you guys so much!”.

The final scene is Australia’s very own Rebel Wilson smiling and making a heart with her hands.

The ABC News reported that so far the charity single has raised over $4,300 in sales. It is now available on Apple Music for purchase and Spotify for streaming.
