PlayStation Plus members can pick up three great games during April including Oddworld: Soulstorm, Days Gone and Zombie Army 4.
If you’re a PlayStation owner, there’s a good chance you’ve signed up to PlayStation Plus. It’s an essential subscription service that allows you to play online games with your friends. Being a member also provides you with a handful of free games each month, and April’s selection is a stunner.
From today you’ll be able to download Oddworld: Soulstorm for PS5, as well as both Days Gone and Zombie Army 4 for PS4.
The big ticket item for the list is of course Oddworld: Soulstorm – a brand new game for PlayStation 5. The action-adventure platformer is set directly after the events of 2014’s Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty, as you lead unlikely hero Abe to save his fellow people and lead them to rebellion.
It might look a little odd, but the game was first announced back in 2016 and has a fair bit of excitement behind it, so grabbing it for free is a pretty amazing deal. We should point out however that only the PS5 version is available via PlayStation Plus. PS4 owners will unfortunately have to shell out for the full thing.

Then we have Days Gone. A mix between Sons of Anarchy and The Walking Dead, this 2019 PlayStation exclusive has been a quiet achiever since its release in 2019. In our review, we said “At its core, Days Gone is bloody, it’s brutal and is actually pretty darn enjoyable.” Since then the game has also scored an update for PS5 to grant it 60fps – making it extra smooth to play.
Rounding out the list is Zombie Army 4, a frantic third-person shooter that has you blasting Nazi zombies in an alternate-WW2 setting. It’s simple action that’s perfect with friends.

You’ll be able to download all three April PlayStation Plus games from today until Monday, May 3, 2021. You can download and play them whenever you like so long as you remain signed up for PlayStation Plus.
At time of writing, only Oddworld is available to add to your library for free, but the other two games should make the switch sometime today as well.
Happy gaming!
