One of the women competing in the upcoming season of The Bachelor is in a polyamorous relationship, and her boyfriend drove her to meet the Bachelor leads for the first time.

Jess Navin is a contestant on The Bachelor 2023, and an early trailer showed her Felix that she’s in an open-relationship. In the clip, Jess tells Felix that she’s something she’d like to say to him at the rose ceremony. Felix then tells the camera; “She’s seeing someone at the moment, in an open relationship.”

Now, a production insider has shared some insight into Jess’s open relationship, and told So Dramatic! that her boyfriend was “100 per cent supportive and on board with her doing the show”.

“Her boyfriend drove her to meet the Bachie on the show. They filmed them both at home here in Townsville for her back story,” the source added.

The source told the publication that Jess, who is a model, actor, and influencer, was very open about her current relationship, and told the other woman about it straight away.

“Jess is polyamorous. So she’s got a boyfriend at home. They’re in an open relationship and he knew she was going on the show. He was OK with it. She told everyone about it. She wasn’t hiding it at all.”

“The girls were all confused about it and had no idea what a polyamorous relationship was or how it worked,” the source said.

However, the source said that Jess was planning on “letting go of her boyfriend at home to then pursue things with Felix“ (if he chose her).

Speaking of Jess’s choice to prioritise Felix over her current boyfriend, the source said: “We were all like, ‘holy sh*t, that’s pretty heavy’. Imagine being the boyfriend… That would suck! So yeah, that was a huge drama and a big talking point throughout a lot of the show,” they said.

A recently released promotional clip for The Bachelor features Jess and shows her and Felix happily dating. Later in the clip Jessica reveals a secret and she is shown crying, with Felix telling the camera, “it’s thrown me”.
