Footage has emerged on Reddit of two Australian dipshits attempting to force a ringtail possum to take part in a joint.
The possum was sitting on the window ledge of the house where the culprits were chonging on. Instead of making a normal, ethical decision to close the window and protect the wildlife from the devils lettuce, the pair attempt to force the joint to the possums mouth. The possum can be seen letting out a screech before pulling away. We know it’s difficult in this day and age to differentiate between a Dune Rats fan and a wild marsupial, but we have a feeling this was not a case of mistaken identity.
The video was featured on the subreddit r/perfectlycutscreams, where it was upvoted over 14,500 times in the past 24 hours. Reddit users are not typically known for their astonishing moral compass, so we’re not surprised the video was a hit with the community.
It’s easy to laugh this off as bonglord larrikinism but ultimately it’s animal cruelty. We’re not against passing the dank kush to the left-hand side, but as a nation, I’m sure we can make the executive decision to leave animals out of it.
