A new hidden-camera prank show is coming to Australia.

Production company Warner Bros. has been targeting social media users with ads asking: “Have you ever wanted to prank someone?”

“Have you ever wanted to play a prank on your best friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, or family member on TV? Well now you can,” the Instagram ad added.

“Warner Bros. is currently casting a new hidden-camera reality show and wants you to be a part of it. Apply now.”

It is not yet clear when the reality show will enter production or where it will ultimately be broadcast.

The casting call out, seen by Variety Australia, was via the Warner Bros. Casting Australia Instagram page, which has since become unavailable.

It linked to an application form, which was freely available, but now requires a log-in.

Earlier this year, during the Oscars broadcast in the U.S., a promotion for a new show The Prank Panel was broadcast.

The Prank Panel will feature Johnny Knoxville, Eric Andre and Gabourey Sidibe and be produced by Kimmelot and ITV America.

Back in the early 2000s, between 2003 and 2007, Ashton Kutcher created and hosted Punk’d, a hidden-camera reality show targeting celebrities including Justin Timberlake and Frankie Muniz.
