One of the most famous recipes from The Simpsons has now been revealed by Disney+ – Principal Skinner’s trusty steamed hams that he serves to Superintendent Chalmers.
If you’re a fan of The Simpsons, then you sure as heck know about the very famous scene of when Principal Skinner has Superintendent Chalmers over for dinner.
Although his intentions are to serve up a roast, but it accidentally gets burned. Then, he tells Chalmers that he’s cooking up steamed clams, and decides to run across to Krusty Burger and pick up some hamburgers for dinner instead.
In an effort to impress Chalmers, and save the night, he tries to pull a fast one by saying that Chalmers simply misheard him, and that he was preparing steamed hams for dinner, not steamed clams, because that’s what Skinner “calls hamburgers.”
As the story goes, the kitchen ultimately catches fire due to the burned food, and Skinner becomes not-as-clever and tries to pull yet another fast one on Chalmers, claiming that it’s just the aurora borealis in his kitchen, leading us to this clever scene.
Well, if you’re keen to cook up some steamed hams for yourself, Disney+ has teamed up with famed chef Khanh Hong to whip up a recipe that is worthy.
Not only would it give Krusty Burger a run for its money, but these hamburgers are served up perfectly seared, with just the right amount of sauce, lettuce, tomato, and cheese.

The timing is pretty precise when making these bad boys, so set your timers carefully when checking out the recipe. But, if you burn then, you could ultimately just stop by Macca’s and grab yourself some imitation steamed hams, too.
