MAFS showrunners are reportedly ‘furious’ at Dan for ruining his storyline with TV wife Sandy by debuting his new IRL relationship with Samantha.

Dan got ‘married’ to Sandy in a MAFS episode that aired last week, but it’s since been revealed that he is now dating one of his wedding guests.

The woman in question is named Samantha and caused a stir with viewers after she attended the wedding in an extremely low-cut bright orange corset dress. Daily Mail Australia has since revealed that Dan dumped his TV bride for her.

The publication shared photos of Dan and Samantha making out at the Garden Kitchen and Bar at The Star Gold Coast last Friday.

Samantha then shared a now-deleted photo of herself sitting on Dan’s lap while he kissed her on the cheek. The wedding guest also shared a photo of her and Dan walking arm and arm down the street together and captioned it, “let the good times roll. Now let’s have margs tonight and watch you get hitched…”

A source has told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia that producers are ‘furious’ at Dan for being caught publicly with Samantha, and aren’t happy that his storyline with Sandy has now been ruined.

“Dan had some very angry phone calls from production and publicists and he was made an example of to other cast members,” the insider says.

“They’ve all been reminded about the contracts they signed and how they have to play the part until their relationships ends on screen.”

Furthermore, a video posted to Dan’s Instagram on the night of his wedding episode seemed to confirm that he and Sandy are no longer together.

Dan shared a video of he and his friends watching the episode. Dan can be seen doing a toast to his friends, and saying: “enjoy the ride”. A friend yelled back:  “Cheers to laughter and not so much happily ever after,” hinting that there may be trouble in paradise for the couple.
