It’s definitely more expensive than when the PS4 launched in Australia back in 2013, but that was expected given the big tech jump being brought to the table by the PS5.
As for what games will be launched alongside the PS5, Sony confirmed six games will be available on Thursday, November 12th: Astro’s Playroom, Demon’s Souls, Destruction All Stars, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, and Sackboy A Big Adventure.
On top of those PS5 exclusives, there are a number of to-be-confirmed multi-platform titles confirmed, such as Fortnite and Call of Duty.
If none of those games tickle your fancy, then you’ll be pleased to know that you can play almost all your old PS4 games on the PS5 if you wish.
Given how we all still have to stay safe due to the risk of COVID-19, staying inside and playing your new PS5 these Christmas holidays sounds like a pretty good use of your time.
