Soul of Sydney are presenting the Public Opinion Afro Orchestra as part of this year’s Vivid festival.

Nineteen talented musicians from Melbourne compose the Public Opinion Afro Orchestra. The ensemble is inspired and influenced by Nigeria and its surrounding African nations. The result is a unique funk, soul and afro-beat sound. They present an explosion of funk, energy, excitement and creativity in their performances. Specially hand picked byZvi Belling, Ethan Hill (DJ Manchild) and Tristan Ludowyk, the nineteen members of the orchestra are sure to entertain and provide a fresh addition to Vivid 2015’s lineup.

The event will also feature Soul of Sydney’s DJs and friends Neem, Mike Who, Stephen Ferris, Phil Toke and JR Dynamite.

The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra will be playing at a secret location in Sydney on Sunday May 24.
