If you’ve ever dreamed of fronting a real life punk band, maybe spent too much time singing into a hairbrush, supergroup Punk Rock Karaoke are giving you your big chance this February.
Well at least for five minutes.
Featuring musicians from Bad Religion, NOFX, Gold Finger and Agent Orange – to name a few – this is karaoke like you’ve never experienced it.
The rules for the night are pretty simple. There is a sign up sheet, you pick a song, they give you the lyrics. The band will then pick their favourites, and when your song is called you get up on stage.
Punk Rock Karaoke are taking over Newtown Social Clubon Wednesday February 3. Tickets go on sale Friday November 6through the venue.
