If you haven’t heard of YouTube inventor, comedian, and all-round genius Simone Giertz, then you’re about to have your mind blown. The self-proclaimed “Queen of Shitty Robots” has a history of making some of the kookiest and most intriguing robots and inventions possible, but now she’s turned the spotlight on her viewers.
Taking to YouTube yesterday, Simone Giertz released her latest video, where she rates the “really terrible” inventions from her viewers. From a ‘DIY Roomba’, to a ‘Fidget Spinner Spinner’ and a ‘Middle finger robot’, some of the world’s strangest contraptions are reviewed here.
As Giertz explains, think of it less like Shark Tank, and more like ‘Shit Tank”, and you’re starting to get an idea of just what kind of creations she is being forced to look at.
With Giertz giving her thoughts with her trademark wit and affability, you almost forget about the amount of hard work that went into these terrible inventions. Unless of course the inventions were purposely made awfully – in which case, just think how great they could be if the inventors put more work into it?
