The cast of the highly anticipated Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical has been unveiled and boy, are we in for a treat. 

Off the back of the news that the show will be staged on broadway as a one-off charity performance, organisers have announced its all-star lineup of actors.

Taking on the main role of Remy the rat will be Titus Burgess, best known for starring in shows like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and 30 Rock.

Among those joining him on stage are Tony award winner André De Shields as the food critic Anton Ego, and former Whose Line Is It Anyway? regular Wayne Brady as Remy’s father Django.

Other cast members include Adam Lambert as Remy’s brother Emile and Andrew Barth Feldman as Alfredo Linguini, the apprentice chef that Remy controls.

ICYMI, the musical originated on TikTok when users began collaborating on songs inspired by the 2007 Disney Pixar movie.

Started by TikTok user Em Jaccs who uploaded an ode to the rat Remy, other users soon joined in by contributing their own tunes.

From there, the popularity of the videos continued to spiral until Seaview Productions announced the special performance.

The event is set to be live-streamed, meaning fans from all over the globe can tune in to see the musical come to life.

Tickets for the live stream start at just $5, with the show set to premiere on Friday, January 1st at 7PM EST/1AM AEDT.

From there, the show will be available to purchase from the company’s On Demand offering for a further 72 hours after the premiere.
