Tarantino stormed out of the gates with his masterful debut Reservoir Dogs, and the film still feels fresh and surprising even though it’s now been a whopping 25 years since it was released.

Tonight, Sydney gets a special anniversary screening of the cult-classic at Newtown’s Dendy cinemas (there’s also a showing in Canberra), with every ticket scoring you a free beer and a hotdog to really cap off a great night at the flicks.

The film pulled together an amazing cast of Steve Buscemi, harvey Keitel, Michael Madsen and more on a tight budget of $1.2m USD, but went on to be named the greatest independent film of all time by some, kick-starting Tarantino’s career and propelling him on to hits like Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained.

Limited tickets are available, and the screening is on at 6:30pm sharp, so make sure you get in quick – find out more here.
