English funnyman Rob Beckett is coming to Australia for a headline tour, including a performance at the Just For Laughs Sydney Comedy Festival.

The man with the biggest smile in comedy will first bring his Wallop! show to Perth on November 17th, before visiting Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, and Sydney (see full details below). Tickets for the Wallop! tour go on sale on Monday, May 9th (9am local time) via bohmpresents.com.

After bursting onto the comedy scene over a decade ago, Beckett has only gone from strength to strength. It will be a happy return to Australia for Beckett, having been nominated for Best Newcomer at the Adelaide Fringe Festival all the way back in 2011. He then made his debut at the iconic Edinburgh Fringe Festival the following year.

Away from the stand-up circuit, Beckett’s become a welcome presence on TV panel shows, including Would I Lie To You?, A League of Their Own, and Mock the Week. He replaced the late Sean Lock as a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats, and is also well-known as the voice of Celebs Go Dating.

More recently, the comedian kept himself busy during the pandemic with the hugely popular podcast Parenting Hell, co-presented alongside Josh Widdicombe. The show sees the pair interviewing fellow parents on their success (and often failures) at parenting. Parenting Hell has attracted such stellar guests as Jonathan Ross, Katherine Ryan, and Bill Bailey, and has amassed over 25 million downloads in the process.
