After being reminded of an old ultimatum he set Robert Pattinson pins himself, saying he will do porn if The Batman is successful.

In an interview covering The Batman, Robert Pattinson talked about an old ultimatum that he set for himself before the movie came out.

Originally, Robert Pattinson said he would do porn if his version of Batman wasn’t received well, which he later said was a joke. The actor also said it would be more art-house porn.

When asked again about it, Pattinson said it would make more sense to do it if the movie was successful.

He calls it a “celebratory porno.”

@FilmUpdates tweeted this quote from Pattinson about his plans:

“Robert Pattinson speaks on doing “art-house porn” if #TheBatman flopped. “Never say never. I’d be more likely to do it [art-house porn] if it’s [The Batman] successful. It’s celebratory porno.”

@ItsAWarning tweeted in excitement about the prospect of a Robert Pattinson porno in reaction to The Batman actor’s statements.

“ROBERT PATTINSON CONFIRMING CELEBRATORY PORN IF THE BATMAN IS SUCCESSFUL OH WE’VE WON”

Zoë Kravitz didn’t seem opposed to the idea, “So go see the movie everybody.”

In the original interview from The Guardian, Pattinson talked about his experience with expectations, “I’m already remembering what it’s like to talk about a movie where there’s an expectation. Whenever you say anything, people are like, ‘Argh! You idiot!’ Like, dude, I haven’t even started yet!”

This is especially frustrating for Pattinson, who says he is a harsher critic of himself than anyone, “There is no harsher critic of myself than myself, so I don’t need to worry about anyone else.”

Finally, RPatts offers a bit of humor.

“What will happen if we’re not hot for his version of Batman?”

“Porn,” he joked.

“But art-house porn.”

The Batman was released in theaters on March 4th and will be available to stream on HBO Max on April 18th.
