If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend in Sydney, we may have found the perfect thing. Rocks Brewing Company in Alexandria is holding a Dog Appreciation Day on Sunday, where you can bring your dog along, watch the dog show, and sip on a beer from the Karma Keg.
That’s right, Sunday is all about puppers and pints! The money made from the Karma Keg at the event will go towards dog charities, so you’re drinking for a good cause. The brewery also promises a pop-up dog-wash and grooming station, a dog photo-booth, and live music!
The venue is also holding a dog show happening in the afternoon which anyone can enter their dog in! They’re promising a bunch of prizes, so make sure your pup is in peak performance on the day.
The event is hoping to raise awareness of local dogs who need adopting, as well as provide support for a few local dog charities such as Doggie Rescue, and Project Hope. It all kicks off at midday, and the dog show starts at 1:30. Be sure to get there before then if you want to enter your own fur-child in the show.
