The Room,Rachael Ireland’s solo photographic exhibition, will be opening at Gallery Red this July.
Exploring the tensions of what makes something ‘home,’ Ireland’s travel photography evokes a sense of unfamiliarity. Can we find home in a room, in the borders or a country or in a photograph? This is not your typical ‘travel’ photography.
Opening night and drinks will be held on Friday July 25 at Gallery Red from 6pm, with the exhibition running until Tuesday August 12.
